This is the story of a house renovation project.
Introducing a classic Kiwi postmodernism wooden batten & board home circa 1980's, with its Rimu trimmings and topped with a corrugated colour steel roof. Work was undertaken to update the aging interior and increase the functionality of basics like lighting & storage, and to improve the dated kitchen & bathrooms.
No remodelling or major construction (except of course where necessary), which we will discover is unavoidable most of the time when pulling back old fixtures.
